NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE MUSICAL THEATRE COMPANY
42nd Street

HAVE YOU GOT THOSE DANCING FEET?
AUDITIONS FOR PEGGY SAWYER and BILLY LAWLOR

SUNDAY 27TH FEBRUARY AT 9.30AM

THEATRE ROYAL, SHAKESPEARE STREET, NEWCASTLE UPON-TYNE

The North East’s leading musical theatre company is searching for two young, talented and vibrant leads for it’s next production at Newcastle’s Theatre Royal.

42nd Street absorbs Peggy Sawyer and transforms her from a mere chorus girl to the leading lady overnight. This is a unique opportunity to embrace this demanding role and NMTC requires someone who will be able to perform song and dance to the highest level.

The part of Billy Lawlor requires an all round actor who can portray an attractive and confident leading male. They will also be required to sing and dance to a high level.

This show will combine high octane choreography, dynamic vocals and one show-stopping number after another with irresistible razzamatazz!

Open Auditions will be held at the Theatre Royal on Sunday 27th February at 9.30am. The audition will consist of music, dance and acting workshops culminating in the first round of auditions.
