The Peoples Theatre Studio Theatre is a small quirky theatre with less than 80 seats you feel close to the action and you have a fantastic view from literally anywhere in the theatre.

Onto the action and the
stage was nicely dressed looking like a normal living room with pictures
on the wall with IKEAesq furniture and a much talked about giraffe
which one of the audience wanted to steal !!! ha ha.
Imagine getting two
groups of people who agree on some things but disagree on others, you
could say it's relevant for this upcoming election, All of the
characters in the show agree with points made by each other, but disagree
with each other on lots of points.
Set in France this story is about the parents of two 11 year olds who have had a disagreement.

Ferdinand has hit Bruno with a stick knocking out two teeth as a
male...I can assure this happens a lot in many different parts of the
world!
Their parents have decided to have a meeting about this incident, an unfortunate incident and so the carnage pursues. Various points during the play you can't really tell wether the parents are any different to their children or not, both couples slandering the other couple and each other off which reminds me of Prime Ministers Question Time a lot.
But I was gripped for the whole 90 minutes and thoroughly enjoyed it, the cast even though it was small kept you on your toes and there was alcohol involved which always brings out people's true feelings especially the four characters, you actually feel that could be any two couples within the world.
The Cast were as followed Rye Mattick who played art loving Veronique Vallon, Ian Willis played her rodent fearing husband Michel, on the other side was Alison Carr who played Annette Rielle and Colin Jeffrey who plays lawyer Alan Rielle who is always on his phone.

Parents and children are very much alike.
We just use different emotions and different weapons!
Gods of Carnage plays until Sat..
