'Ladies Day'
A Sporting Fun Romp by Amanda Whittington
27th. September to 2nd. October 2010 at 7:30pm daily
Work, love and life are one hard slog for the fish-filleting foursome Pearl, Jan, Shelley and Linda. Their luck changes when Linda finds tickets to Ladies’ Day at Royal Ascot in York. Out go the hairnets and overalls as the girls do themselves up and head for the races. As the day unfolds, the champagne flows, secrets spill out and their horses keep winning. By the last race, the girls are on course for a life-changing win.
Ticket prices Monday/Tuesday £5.00 Wednesday to Saturday £6.00

Tuesday...at the Customs house again in South Shields, for my first review there.
Forget-Me-Knot (by David Tristram)
Monday 27th September 2010, 7:30pmThe Customs House, South Shields visit website
Imagine the plight of poor Robert Zeinfeld. Found wandering the streets at 4am, without even the slightest clue how he got there. Total amnesia! Only a bruised head and a suspicious policeman for company. Perhaps this Zeinfeld character is not what he seems. Perhaps he's got something to hide. Perhaps he hasn't lost his memory at all?
The trouble is, the deeper the policeman digs, the more confused he gets, until he finds himself wrestling a plot with more twists and turns than a buckled slinky.
Visit the Customs House website to book your tickets now! Alternatively, you can ring the box office direct on

On Wednesday it is back to The Peoples Theatre in Newcastle.
